Titus 3:5

“He saved us, not because of deeds done by us in righteousness, but in virtue of his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal in the Holy Sprit”

My name is Sammy. I am a wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and a sinner who was once running straight toward hell with my eyes wide open.

I live on a South Dakota Homestead Ranch that has been in my family for now five generations, but for a long time, even surrounded by all that history and beauty, I was drowning on the inside. I carried wounds I didn’t know how to heal, shame I didn’t know how to release, and chains I didn’t know how to break. I hurt people I loved. I hurt myself. And I believed I was too far gone for God to ever want me.

But then Jesus stepped into my darkest waters.

He didn’t wait for me to clean myself up. He didn’t ask me to pretend I was okay. He met me exactly where I was broken, angry, guilty, exhausted, and empty.

And He pulled me out.

He broke the chains I thought were permanent. He lifted the burdens I thought I had to carry forever. He taught me how to trust Him, how to breathe again, how to walk in a freedom I never believed was meant for someone like me.

Four years ago, I was the woman who thought she was too deep in sin, too damaged, too far gone to ever be saved. If that’s you right now, if you feel filthy, forgotten, or unforgivable then this blog is for you.

I’m here to tell you the truth: You are not beyond saving. You are not too far gone. Jesus meets you right where you are. Raw, hurting, unjudged and He loves you back to life.

This space is for the woman who thinks she’s the exception to grace. The woman who cries alone. The woman who hides her wounds because she thinks no one would understand. The woman who believes she’s ruined her chance at redemption.

I was her. And Jesus came for me anyway.

My prayer is that through my story, through every testimony, every scar, every moment of rescue, you will see the God who never stops reaching for you. I hope this blog becomes a place where you feel seen, understood, and reminded that there is a Savior who already knows your whole story, and still chooses you.

You are not alone. You are not forgotten. You are not too far gone.

There is a way out. His name is Jesus.
